  • Dylan's whole Blood on the Tracks album, for me, is unlistenable because it's so incredibly evocative of loss. Knowing that it was written in the throes of his divorce doesn't mean that the listener equates the sorrow only with romance gone wrong.

  • Differnet, I think you might be conflating the terms "sexual" and "sexualized." All humans are sexual beings, yes, regardless of age. However, "sexualized" means that the child has been invested by an outside source with sexual attributes.

  • Tax penalties or benefits for being married or single, across the board, have always seemed unconstitutional to me. If memory serves, courts in other countries have ruled that joint taxation for married couples does violate equal rights provisions.
